About Excess tel, our journey began with a vision to redefine the telecommunications landscape. We embarked on this path because we believed in the transformative power of connectivity. Excess Telecom provides talk, text, and broadband services through various programs, including the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), Lifeline Program, and Connections plans. The ACP, overseen by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), offers discounts on monthly broadband Internet service. Eligible households can receive discounts of up to $30 per month (or up to $75 per month on Tribal lands) on broadband Internet access. Additionally, the ACP offers a $100 discount on a tablet device, requiring an $11 co-payment with Excess Telecom.

The Lifeline Program, also operated by the FCC, provides broadband discounts. Excess Telecom offers Lifeline services in partnership with Infiniti Mobile. Qualified individuals are enrolled with Infiniti Mobile and receive Lifeline services through Excess Telecom.

The Connections plans provide broadband services to individuals eligible for federal Lifeline services. Subscribers can purchase a computer tablet for $11 if eligible for an ACP-subsidized device, or they may receive a free phone. Enrollment in Connections plans requires payment of a deferred $12 service activation fee at the time of enrollment and provides limited-time coverage of four months of service.

These programs aim to make essential communication services more accessible to eligible individuals, ensuring they can stay connected affordably.
