Well, here’s some exciting news from Excess Telecom: we’re rolling out new plans designed to get eligible households connected right away and prepped for potential ACP enrollment later this year. With our Connection Plans, you can enjoy completely free monthly services, requiring only a one-time deferred activation fee of $12.
Already receiving ACP benefits from another provider? Consider transferring your benefits to Excess Telecom today! Join the over one million households nationwide benefiting from our value-packed Standard Plans, or upgrade to our new Advantage Plans for unparalleled value.
Please note that new enrollments into the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) halted on February 7, 2024. However, the ACP will remain active through April (May for Excess Telecom customers) unless further federal funding is approved. Customers enrolled in the ACP as of February 8, 2024, will continue to receive coverage unless the program concludes or they become ineligible.
Wondering if you qualify for the ACP? Here are the eligibility criteria:
- Income-based: You qualify for the ACP if your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines based on your household size and state.
- Participation in certain government assistance programs: Eligibility extends to individuals participating in programs like Medicaid, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), SSI (Supplemental Security Income), and more.
- Tribal assistance programs: If you reside on qualifying Tribal lands, you may be eligible based on income or participation in specific federal assistance programs.
Additionally, households receiving Lifeline benefits automatically qualify for the ACP, and both benefits can be applied to the same or separate services.
Don’t meet the income qualifying standard? No worries! Any member of your household participating in the mentioned government assistance programs can make your household eligible for the ACP benefit.
